Exhilarates now favourite for MM Classic

Tuesday 8 January 2019, 10:36am

Godolphin filly Exhilarates is now favourite for the Magic Millions 2YO Classic after drawing gate nine.

Exhilarates won at the Gold Coast on Saturday to cement her place in the field and returns a week later to run for the major share of $2 million.

The TAB wound her price in with former favourite Unite And Conquer at $6 after drawing 18.

The Darren Weir-trained Yes Yes Yes ($7) has the outside gate in the field of 16 plus five emergencies.

Yes Yes Yes is still in Melbourne and has so far not been able to get a flight to Queensland.

The Ciaron Maher and David Eustace-trained Dubious is also at $7 and will start from barrier seven.

Two of the emergencies have drawn inside Exhilarates and she will come in to seven if they don't run.
