Having won a feature race at Caulfield with one new stable acquisition, the Lindsay Park operation is looking to repeat the performance a week later at Flemington.
Three-year-old gelding Hawkshot dominated Saturday's Group Two Autumn Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield at his first start for Lindsay Park after being transferred from the disqualified Darren Weir last week.
Another former Weir-trained horse, Thousand Guineas winner Amphitrite, will make her debut for the Lindsay Park team of David and Ben Hayes and Tom Dabernig in the Group Three Vanity (1400m).
Four-year-old Chauffeur, another new addition to the stable, is likely to be among nominations for Saturday's Group One Lightning Stakes (1000m) as well as a 1200m benchmark 90-race
Amphitrite has already made an impression on her new trainers after easily winning a jump-out at Flemington on Frida.
They were already well aware of her talent after she stormed home to win the Group One Thousand Guineas last spring in the final stride, chasing down her now stablemate Fundamentalist.
"She seems straightforward and I thought her trial was excellent," Dabernig said.
"She will run in The Vanity with Craig Williams to ride.
"We know her through Fundamentalist, clearly. And as it turns out Fundamentalist is going to be in the same race on Saturday.
"They are both in good shape and going well."
The Australian Guineas and All-Star Mile are among the upcoming options for Amphitrite and also Fundamentalist, a three-time Group One placegetter.
Fundamentalist was placed in both the Thousand Guineas and Empire Rose Stakes at Group One level last spring and made a pleasing return when fourth in the Group Three Manfred Stakes (1200m) on February 2.
"Her first-up run was good over 1200 which is not really her trip," Dabernig said.
"Just on the winning post she was on the back of the winner, so she was good late.
"Over 1400 metres and a mile she will be better."
Among the stable's other planned runners on Saturday are three-year-old colts More Sundays and Mickey Blue Eyes in the Group Three C S Hayes Stakes (1400m).
