Winx has ticked another box in preparation for her final race start in the Queen Elizabeth Stakes with a faultless exhibition gallop at Randwick.
Hugh Bowman worked the mare over 1000-metres and she went to the line under her own steam, clocking 34.67 seconds for her final 600 metres.
Trainer Chris Waller described the workout as "perfect" and said the race day experience was beneficial for the whole team.
"This morning is a good piece of work for her and an important piece," Waller said.
"It will even help us. Three weeks between runs, you have a week to come down, a week to build up a little bit and the last week gets quite intense.
"She looks pretty good to me.
"We're just making sure the horse is staying the same and staying safe, not letting her get away on us with three weeks between runs."
Winx will have a similar gallop on Tuesday and stretch her legs again on Thursday at what will be her final pre-race media call.
The champion mare and winner of 36 of her 42 starts, the past 32 in succession, will farewell racing in next Saturday's $4 million Queen Elizabeth Stakes (2000m) at Randwick.
