Apprentice Stephanie Thornton has had a careless riding suspension overturned on appeal by the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board.
Thornton was suspended at Caulfield on Saturday for nine meetings on a careless riding charge aboard Raspberry Rose in the Darren Gauci Handicap.
Racing Victoria stewards deemed the careless riding to be in the low range and banned her from Thursday until May 23.
Thornton lodged an appeal with the RAD Board on Monday.
With Victorian Jockeys' Association chief executive Matt Hyland in her corner, Thornton won her appeal on Tuesday with the RAD Board dismissing the careless riding charge.
