Doomben course manager Jim Roberts expects the track to be ideal for the Group One meeting despite rain in Brisbane.
The Group One Doomben Cup is the main race but it is supported by five other stakes races.
Roberts said Doomben had escaped most of the heavy rain which hit parts of Brisbane on Thursday and Friday.
"We had five and half millimetres on Thursday night and there has been a drizzle on Friday," Roberts said.
"I have posted a soft five rating but it is right on the border of being good. Let me put it this way last week the penetrometer was 5.5 for a good track and this morning it was 5.6.
"Provided the rain stays away we should have an ideal racing surface."
The Chris Waller-trained Youngstar, winner of the Queensland Oaks at the track last year, is the favourite for the Doomben Cup.
