Talented sprinter She Knows will be looking to build on her outstanding record at Randwick when she returns to headquarters for the first time in almost a year.

The mare has raced at the track six times for three wins and three narrow seconds, a statistic that is not lost on her trainer Danny Williams.

"All of her best form has been at Randwick. She likes the track there for some reason," Williams said.

She Knows won a Highway Handicap at the corresponding Randwick meeting last year and held her form over the winter months with another city win and three minor placings.

The four-year-old has since proven her quality during the major carnivals in Melbourne and Sydney finishing second to Eduardo in the Group Two Caulfield Sprint in October and was runner-up to Easy Eddie at Group Three level during the autumn in Sydney.

She was coming off a six-week break when midfield behind Viridine in the Ortensia Stakes at Scone last start and has been tuned up for Saturday's EML Handicap at Randwick with a winning jump-out on Tuesday.

"Her run at Scone, she was caught off the track throughout and wanted to race a bit fresh," Williams said.

"She finds herself at the same weight and she's dropping back from Listed company.

"After a freshen-up, she always seems to need a run and I think the gallop (on Tuesday) would have brought her on."

Promising sprinter Cradle Mountain is early favourite for Saturday's race at what will be his first start since he finished runner-up to Fell Swoop in the Razor Sharp Stakes at Randwick in December.

He holds sway narrowly ahead of Godolphin's Deprive who missed a planned run at Rosehill last week when he reared in the barriers and was a late scratching.

Williams will also saddle up Major Danger who will chase back-to-back TAB Highway Handicap wins after scoring at Hawkesbury's stand-alone Saturday meeting on April 27.

The four-year-old has been slow to mature and will be lining up for just his sixth start but Williams is optimistic he has turned the corner.

"He's taken a lot of work to get to where we are but he's starting to really come of age and this looks a nice race for him," Williams said.

"He will be very hard to beat."
