Wednesday 29 May 2019, 9:59am

Champion mare Winx's great career will be remembered at the racetrack where her marvellous Group One run started.

In 2015 Winx began her world record of 25 consecutive Group One wins in the Queensland Oaks which was run at Doomben.

Winx's connections have for the first time at an Australian racecourse agreed to display each of her Group One trophies that includes her four consecutive Cox Plates.

Co-owner Peter Tighe said he was delighted to be able to share the spoils of her incredible career with the racing public.

"It only seems like yesterday that Winx saluted in the Queensland Oaks and took us all on this incredible journey," Tighe said.

"We've been so fortunate to enjoy her success, and at the same time, the entire nation has embraced her as their own.

"We wanted to find a way to say thank you to her Queensland fans and by displaying her Group One trophies, including the Oaks, we think it is a fitting tribute."
