Queensland bush champion Fab's Cowboy will get a big money chance to regain his title as the winner of the most Australian races for the season.
Fab's Cowboy was pushed into second place on the list when Mr Quickie won his ninth race for the season in Saturday's Queensland Derby.
The gelding is on eight in second place alongside champion Winx and Godolphin's Avilius.
Fab's Cowboy is the only one to continue racing this season and the Bevan Johnson-trained gelding can rejoin Mr Quickie in the $125,000 TAB Battle of the Bush Final at Eagle Farm on Saturday week.
The final acceptances of 16 plus six emergencies were taken on Wednesday to give connections time to travel to Brisbane for the race.
The series for country-trained horses kicked off at Gladstone on April 20 and included 16 towns across Queensland to decide the final field.
Racing Queensland general manager of thoroughbreds, Simon Stout, said the 2019 TAB Battle of the Bush Series was among the most anticipated events in the history of Queensland country racing.
"The Battle of the Bush has given trainers right across Queensland something to aspire to,"Stout said.
Horses from as far north as Atherton, to as far south as Dalby will arrive in Brisbane next week.
The $125,000 final is over 1200m with a maximum field of 16 runners. The final is worth $72,500 to the winner. In addition, there is a $30,000 QTIS bonus if the winner is eligible.
