Charity Boxing, a Smashing Success

Thursday 18 October 2012, 1:38pm

Thanks goes to all sponsors, guests and volunteers who supported the Charity Boxing Challenge that was held on Saturday 6 October at Inglis, Newmarket following Epsom Super Saturday. The event attracted a great crowd and the atmosphere was amazing with everyone rising to the occasion.

All fighters did a fantastic job. The training and effort that was put in leading up to the fight was outstanding.

Thank you to James Price, Liam Prior, Jonathan Crowley, Matt Lawler and Mick Malone for representing the thoroughbred industry so well.

There were 15 fights and over $70,000 was raised for The McGrath Foundation, The Sydney Children’s Hospital, Bowel Cancer Australia and Network Kokoda.

A big thank you to Peter Morrison, Matt Gardner and Conor Phelan for organising the night and dedicating their time for training and making the night such a success.

This event will be held again next year. If you wish to participate please contact Peter Morrison on 0408 145 029 or info@kicktactics.com.au.
