A host of spring carnival hopefuls are scheduled to step out in barrier trials at Randwick including Group One winners Alizee and Happy Clapper.
The James Cummings-trained mare Alizee headlines the entries for the opening trial on Tuesday morning at Randwick over 900m, with the first two heats for Group and Listed horses to be run on the course proper.
Along with Alizee, who finished fourth in a Rosehill barrier trial on July 19, the opening heat of 10 runners includes a trio of well-performed Chris Waller-trained horses - Group One winner Youngstar, Group Two-winning colt Yes Yes Yes and Group Two-winning filly Fiesta.
Multiple Group One winner Happy Clapper headlines the second heat which has nine entries including Doncaster Mile runner-up Dreamforce, and the promising Anthony Cummings-trained filly Libertini who turns three later this week.
The Peter and Paul Snowden stable have Group-winning two-year-olds Anaheed, Cosmic Force and Catch Me down to trial on the morning.
