A winning double at The Valley has come at a cost for jockey Brett Prebble.
Prebble won aboard the Levi Kavanagh-trained Kentucky Breeze in the final race on Saturday's program but was charged with careless riding and suspended for seven meetings for causing interference to jockey Craig Williams' mount Charossa passing the finish post.
Prebble pleaded guilty to the charge of shifting in while making a celebratory gesture on Kentucky Breeze, tightening Williams' mount Charossa between two runners.
Having already been suspended for 10 meetings at Sandown on Wednesday for careless riding, Prebble had asked stewards to consider a severe reprimand and fine rather than another suspension.
"I don't think this warrants missing another Saturday meeting at this time of year for me," Prebble said.
Prebble will now miss both the Memsie Stakes meeting next Saturday and also the Feehan Stakes fixture the following weekend while serving the back-to-back suspensions.
Prebble had earlier won aboard Algadon Miss for trainer Matt Laurie.
