Promising three-year-old Garibaldi will miss Eagle Farm on Saturday after a minor set back but is still set to resume in Melbourne next month.
Garibaldi, who was stakes-placed in the Sydney autumn and also finished third in the Group Two BRC Sires' Produce Stakes in the winter, had a jump-out at Doomben on Tuesday.
However, trainer Tony Gollan elected not to run him at Eagle Farm after he wasn't happy with the colt on Wednesday morning.
"It is nothing serious but it would have been silly to risk him," Gollan said.
"Instead he can have another jump-out and then head to the Danehill Stakes in Melbourne in a fortnight."
Meanwhile, Gollan's stable star Zoustyle won his jump-out by six lengths on Tuesday.
"He is ready for the Concorde in Sydney on Saturday week and I am really looking forward to it," Gollan said.
"That race will determine the rest of his spring."
