The field for the Group Three San Domenico Stakes has been reduced to five with the scratching of highly touted colt Yes Yes Yes.
Trainer Chris Waller has decided against running the three-year-old first-up on what is set to be a significantly rain-affected track.
As of Friday morning, 27mm of rain had fallen at Rosehill in the preceding 24 hours with track manager Shaun Patterson rating the surface a heavy eight.
More rain is forecast.
"By the radar, we're going to miss a fair bit of it but we've just got to see what happens in the next 24 hours," Patterson said.
The scratching of Yes Yes Yes followed the earlier withdrawal of Dubious who will instead run in Melbourne.
It leaves Godolphin colt Bivouac, who is proven in heavy ground, a prohibitive odds-on favourite ahead of Hawkes Racing's emerging talent Exceedance.
There has also been unprecedented support for bush gelding Royal Popcorn who was $151 with TAB Fixed Odds on Friday but opened at $3.70 in early TAB totalisator pools.
