The Winter Cup meeting at Rosehill has been rescheduled to Monday.
Officials called off Saturday's racing when it became obvious there would be no break in Sydney's wet weather during the day.
The rain is expected to lighten on Sunday and Racing NSW is hopeful the nine-race program can go ahead the following day.
The Kembla Grange meeting set down for Monday was abandoned on Saturday with the NSW South Coast receiving record rainfall over the past week.
Racing NSW chief executive Peter V'Landys said the forecast gave him hope Monday's meeting would go ahead.
"We're hoping it eases off," V'Landys said.
"This rain is unprecedented and there's nothing we can do.
"The Kensington track at Randwick is StrathAyr but won't be available until September.
"But with the rain we're having visibility would have been the main problem anyway."
Saturday's Gosford meeting, a transferred Hawkesbury program, was also called off early in the morning.
