Registered Victorian owner Lester O'Grady faces 20 charges, 10 in the alternative, over the neglect of racehorses in his care.
Racing Victoria stewards charged O'Grady under an Australian Rule of Racing that, up to and including March 18 this year, he had failed to provide 10 horses with proper and sufficient nutrition.
O'Grady faces charges in the alternative with stewards alleging he failed to provide those horses with necessary veterinary treatment.
The new Victorian Racing Tribunal, which replaced the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board in August, will hear the charges at a future date.
