The Daniel Bowman-trained Begood Toya Mother has been installed the early favourite in an all-in market for the Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes after the release of nominations for the Group One handicap at Caulfield.
Begood Toya Mother was posted as the $5 favourite in the TAB's market on Monday before firming to $3.50, with Saturday's 1400m race attracting 18 nominations.
It has a field limit of 16 plus emergencies.
Group One winners Best Of Days and Black Heart Bart are the highest-rated horses among the entries, while Age Of Chivalry (94) and Inn Keeper (93) are at the bottom end of the ratings.
Dual New Zealand Group One winner Madison County, who finished second in the Group One Australian Derby at his most recent start in April, is entered with co-trainer Murray Baker telling stewards the horse has had bone chips removed from a knee since his last raced.
Begood Toya Mother won five-straight races during his previous preparation to work through the grades before winning the Listed Regal Roller Stakes at Caulfield first-up this season on a path towards the Rupert Clarke.
He finished sixth in the weight-for-age Group One Memsie Stakes over the Caulfield 1400m at his most recent start on August 31.
Weights are due to be released later on Monday.
