Promising filly Gotta Kiss can be the first Queensland horse assured of a Magic Millions 2YO Classic start if she stays unbeaten at Eagle Farm.

Gotta Kiss won both her barrier trials in impressive fashion before being equally strong in winning the first metropolitan two-year-old of the season at Eagle Farm two weeks ago.

She can lift her prizemoney to $85,000 by winning the Two-Year-Old (1000m) at Eagle Farm on Saturday.

The cut-off to make the field for the Magic Millions Classic on January 13 is expected to be higher than previously because of prize money boosts in Queensland and NSW.

However, it is still expected to be about $50,000 which means a win for Gotta Kiss will safely see her in the field.

Trainer Steve O'Dea was debating after the filly's win whether to spell her but he has decided to give her one more run.

"She is a nice filly and shown us something from day one," he said.

Gotta Kiss has the right bloodlines to win a Millions because she is by top sire Not a Single Doubt out of the Strada mare Sweet Kiss.

Not A Single Doubt ran second in the 2004 Millions Classic before going on to establish himself among Australia's elite stallions.

Sweet Kiss won four races and finished fourth in the Inglis Classic during her racetrack career.

O'Dea is having one of his best seasons and is equal third on the metropolitan premiership with 10 winners.

He has another strong hand at Eagle Farm with Cool Sequence in the DSS Law Open and Sabkhat in the Clayfield Jewellery Open.

O'Dea's apprentice Stephanie Thornton will ride both which he believes brings them into the races with handy weights.
