The funeral service for popular ex-jockey Glenn Pickwick will be held in Sydney next week.
Pickwick, who died suddenly at his home on Saturday, will be remembered at a service at Rookwood Cemetery on Monday at 2.30pm.
Glenn began riding career in south-east Queensland in the late 1970s before moving to Grafton in the NSW Northern Rivers area.
After winning the apprentices premiership he moved to Sydney and transferred his indentures to Neville Begg.
He retired in 2002 and after making a one-off comeback at Lightning Ridge six years later, he made it permanent.
