Trainer Stuart Kendrick hopes to cement his association with the famous Swettenham Stud when Trust In Aloha makes her debut at the Sunshine Coast, her home track.
Trust In Aloha is by Swettenham's first season sire Trust In A Gust and will be only the second horse to carry the stud's famous green and blue colours for Kendrick.
The filly will be among the first of Trust In A Gust's offspring to race when she tackles the QTIS Two-Year-Old Handicap (1000m).
Trust In a Gust retired to stand at Sweetenham Stud, in Victoria, after winning 10 races including two at Group One level.
Kendrick said Swettenham's principal Adam Sangster had raced a filly named Petite Promise with him.
"Petite Promise has been placed and we thought enough of her to run her in stakes company in the winter," Kendrick said.
"Adam is trying to get Trust In a Gust a profile so he sent this filly to us and we syndicated her with some of our regular owners.
"Trust In Aloha has shown ability on the training track and she will be keenly watched by breeding buffs on Saturday."
Eight of the nine acceptances for the two-year-old race are first starters.
