Racing Victoria has added a race meeting at Werribee to the schedule after recent abandonments due to smoke haze and poor air quality in the state.
A Tuesday meeting was called off at Werribee on race morning because of smoke and forecast hazardous air quality, and meetings at Caulfield and Yarra Valley were abandoned on Wednesday.
RV has scheduled an additional eight-race meeting at Werribee on Tuesday, January 21.
Werribee was down to conduct barrier trials that day but they have been moved to Thursday week.
RV said Wednesday's abandoned city meeting at Caulfield would not be rescheduled but a benchmark-70 race over 2100m was added to next Wednesday's Sandown meeting.
