Mr Entertainer could back up as soon as Wednesday from a luckless run at Warwick Farm on Saturday - weather permitting.
Trainer Grant Allard has also nominated him for the two-year-old race at Rosehill on Saturday if Randwick's midweek meeting is held on a deteriorating track with rain predicted in Sydney this week.
As he juggles the program of Mr Entertainer, the Gosford-based Allard has taken some of his other horses north to Queensland, training a double at Doomben on Saturday with Style and Loaded.
"I'm trying to find the right races for Mr Entertainer," Baker said.
"He was supposed to run at the Randwick meeting which was eventually washed out and I've been behind.
"I've accepted for Randwick but he hates the wet conditions so we may have to wait.
"He's come through Saturday well and it's just a matter of getting the races for him."
Mr Entertainer was the victim of early interference in the 1000m race at Warwick Farm and did well to finish within two lengths of the winner Snitzel's Jewel.
Hoping to capitalise on his Doomben double, Allard has nominated Triple Oh for the Class 6 (1600m) at Eagle Farm on Saturday.
"I've also got Shadow Me up here in Brisbane and she will back up on Wednesday after her second last week," Allard said.
"Backing horses up quickly is not something I've done much in the past but they are thriving up here.
"The tracks have also been wet but somehow they are not as bad as they are down south."
