Rosehill meeting transferred to Randwick

The Expressway Stakes meeting has been transferred from Rosehill to Randwick with a forecast for extreme heat in Sydney.

Temperatures in Sydney's west are forecast to reach 40 degrees on Saturday but are cooler at 33 deg in the east.

Randwick also has the benefit of sea breezes.

Alizee is the early favourite for the Group Two Expressway Stakes (1200m).

The heat is also affecting Victoria with Friday's Werribee meeting transferred to Monday.

Racing Victoria will continue to monitor conditions ahead of Friday night's meeting at The Valley.
