Trainer Desleigh Forster has made key gear changes to two of her runners at Eagle Farm as she looks to build on her great start to the new year.
Forster has won six races in the past three weeks from a team of a dozen horses.
She has a genuine chance of an Eagle Farm treble on Saturday with Desert Digby (Girls Day Out Hcp), Red Chase (Class 6 Plate) and Twilighter (Anzac Day Hcp).
Forster has put bar plates on Desert Digby who has had some leg issues.
Desert Digby has won five races and $171,000 but is still eligible for a No Metropolitan Win race on Saturday.
"We have had a few little problems with him and the bar plates should help on a dry track," Forster said.
"But if it is too wet I will apply to have them removed for the race."
Red Chase handles all types of going but his campaign has been hampered by the recent heavy rain.
"Every time I have him in somewhere they are washed out," she said.
"At least we know we will race at Eagle Farm on Saturday and the blinkers should help him race a bit closer to the pace."
Forster has been pleased with staying mare Twilighter since her win at Eagle Farm last Saturday.
"I see no reason why she can't back up and be hard to beat again," Forster said.
