Star New Zealand gelding Te Akau Shark headlines a field of nine for the George Ryder Stakes, one of five Group One races on the Golden Slipper program at Rosehill.
While the Golden Slipper field was announced on Tuesday, acceptances for the remaining races on Saturday's program were taken on Wednesday with the Jamie Richards-trained Te Akau Shark favourite for the weight-for-age George Ryder (1500m) in which he has drawn barrier eight.
Te Akau Shark's opposition includes grand campaigner Happy Clapper who has barrier six while three three-year-old colts will take on the older horses including Caulfield Guineas winner Super Seth who has the outside draw.
The weight-for-age Ranvet Stakes (2000m) will feature the first Australian appearance of English visitor Addeybb, with the William Haggas-trained gelding drawing barrier six in a field of eight.
Defending champion Avilius has drawn barrier two in the Ranvet.
A full field of 14 plus three emergencies has been declared for the Group One Galaxy (1100m) headlined by Pierara who has drawn barrier 11 with Tommy Berry to ride.
