Wyong Provincial C'ship heat rescheduled

Monday 30 March 2020, 12:04pm

The Provincial Championships Qualifier which was washed out at Wyong has been rescheduled to Newcastle.

The $150,000 Qualifier at Wyong on Saturday was called off after heavy rain.

Racing NSW has added the race to Tuesday's Newcastle meeting which will now have 11 races.

Scratchings have been reinstated for the Qualifier, which has a capacity field of 16 plus four emergencies, with saddlecloth numbers and barriers unchanged.

The first three across the line in Tuesday's 1350m race earn a place in the $400,000 Provincial Championships Final at Randwick on April 11.
