Marboosha makes it two from two at Farm

Wednesday 29 April 2020, 6:01pm

Two-year-old filly Marboosha has continued a promising start to her racing career with a city win at Warwick Farm to remain unbeaten from two starts.

Bringing up the first of two winners on Wednesday's program for co-trainers Peter and Paul Snowden, Marboosha sat three-wide on the pace in the All Too Hard @ Vinery Handicap (1100m) but still kicked away under Rachel King to win by 1-3/4-lengths.

By Dream Ahead out of Boomex, Marboosha won a two-year-old fillies handicap at Muswellbrook on debut earlier this month and Paul Snowden believes the juvenile will continue to develop.

"What she is doing is just on ability alone," Snowden told Sky Thoroughbred Central.

"She's definitely not furnished into the full product yet.

"Only time will tell just how good she is and how far she can go but she certainly is quite impressive what she is doing at the moment."

Three-year-old filly Satin Socks brought up the double for the Snowdens, sitting in behind the lead under Nash Rawiller in the Too Darn Hot @ Darley Handicap (1200m) before sprinting between runners in the straight to score by a half-neck.

Snowden indicated the filly, who has three wins from 12 starts, was likely to get another opportunity to snare some valuable black-type in a stakes race in the coming weeks.

Rawiller brought up his second win of the day in the final race aboard the well-bred four-year-old gelding Bold And Wild who scored by a short-neck first-up from a spell in the TAB Handicap (1200m).

By Redoute's Choice out of 2010 ATC Australian Oaks winner Once Were Wild, Bold And Wild made it three wins from five starts and gave trainer Bjorn Baker two wins on the program.
