Top jockey Michael Cahill has been suspended over rides in the first and last of nine races at Eagle Farm in a winter carnival finale for Brisbane's metropolitan tracks.
Cahill won the first race on Sydney visitor Thy Kingdom Come but was suspended for 12 days.
He was found guilty of careless riding at the 150m mark.
Cahill was also found guilty of causing interference on Fiesta in the Dane Ripper Stakes.
Stewards found he had been careless in the home straight.
He was suspended for 10 days with the concurrent penalties to start next Sunday and end on July 3.
Cahill has five days in which to seek a review.
Eagle Farm stewards were also busy policing excessive whip rules, handing out nine fines totalling $2300.
