On his first day back from a suspension for weighing in light, Glyn Schofield has again found himself on the wrong side of stewards for careless riding.
Schofield has appealed the severity of the penalty he received for weighing in light at Rosehill on July 20 which was a suspension and a $2000 fine.
That appeal has yet to be heard.
The jockey copped his latest ban for his ride on Champagne Cath in an 1100m race at Rosehill on Saturday in which he crossed Yupik about 300 metres after settling as he was attempting to go forward on his filly after she missed the start.
Schofield will miss next Saturday's Missile Stakes meeting at Randwick, starting his ban after Wednesday and returning a week later.
