A race has been added to this weekend's Aurie's Star Handicap meeting at Flemington as a result of two washed-out country meetings on Sunday.
Both the Kilmore and Pakenham meetings were abandoned on Sunday because of the state of the track after rain.
A $30,000 benchmark 0-70 race over 1200m that was set down for Kilmore will be staged at Flemington on Saturday with horses that had accepted for the Kilmore race getting preference in the ballot.
A race has also been added to Sunday's Warrnambool meeting.
Racing Victoria are looking at running up to 10 races at country meetings from Thursday to Sunday.
Wet weather over the weekend also forced an important set of barrier trials at Cranbourne to be called off on Monday in which a number of spring carnival-bound gallopers were entered.
A new set of trials at Cranbourne has been programmed for next Monday.
