Top Melbourne jockey Luke Nolen is free to ride at Moonee Valley this Saturday after having one meeting shaved off a careless riding ban on appeal.
Nolen was suspended at Geelong last Friday for seven meetings but appealed against both the decision and penalty in front of the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board on Monday.
Nolen's appeal against the conviction was dismissed but his penalty was varied to six meetings, allowing him to return for Saturday's Moonee Valley program.
