Toowoomba Turf Club's first meeting on the Inner track on Saturday is also likely to be its last.
Stewards cancelled the final three races of the Toowoomba Inner meeting on Saturday after jockey Nozi Tomizawa was injured in a fall.
Stewards called off the meeting because of concerns with the racing surface after Tomizawa's mount Auchenflower fell.
Tomizawa was taken to Toowoomba hospital with a hip injury and missing teeth.
Saturday's program was the first meeting held on the Inner track, which is Toowoomba's main grass surface used for trackwork.
The club planned to race on the Inner track while it renovates the course proper by removing the cushion surface and replacing it with Strathayr turf.
Racing Queensland chairman Kevin Dixon said future meetings scheduled for the Inner track were likely to be switched to Warwick and Dalby.
