In-form trainer Desleigh Forster is concerned the rail placement at Doomben on Saturday could hinder the prospects of Poste Restante recording back-to-back victories.
Poste Restante produced a powerful final 400m finish to win first-up from a spell at Doomben on October 13 when the running rail was in the true position.
Brisbane Racing Club track officials have moved the rail out eight metres for Saturday's meeting, a factor which Forster believes will be a disadvantage for Poste Restante.
"When the rail is out eight metres at Doomben the backmarkers normally find it hard to make up the ground and this mare falls into that category," Forster said.
"It's going to favour the leaders more this time, especially if they slow up early and make it a sprint home.
"But, in saying that, there wasn't much pace on last time and she was able to finish over the top of them and win."
When Poste Restante was successful at Doomben, she was having her first start for Forster after she was prepared by New Zealand trainer Howie Mathews when she campaigned at the Brisbane winter carnival.
Immediately following Poste Restante's Doomben win, Forster nominated Saturday's Class Six Plate (1350m) as the mare's next goal.
"She drops from 55 kilograms last time to 51 kilograms after the claim for Rosie Myers and going up in distance will be in her favour," she said.
"Since she won at Doomben I've kept her fresh for the 1350 metres and she's really come on as far as her condition is concerned."
Forster will assess Poste Restante's performance at Doomben before finalising further goals for the mare this campaign.
"There's nothing set in stone for her and I'll talk it over with the owners after Saturday and see where we decide to head with her," she said.
"The Brisbane Handicap is a Listed race next month that might be an option we'll look at and if I decide to take Adebisi to Sydney for some races she might travel down there with him."
Forster, who took out her trainer's licence eight years ago, has built up an impressive strike-rate in recent weeks.
Since September 1, she has saddled up 10 starters for eight winners including seven in a row.
