Danny Nikolic has been warned off racetracks for almost two years for threatening a racing steward during an appeal hearing against a previous ban.
Nikolic fronted the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board in Melbourne on Thursday and pleaded guilty to two charges of improper conduct.
He was warned off until October 1, 2015 for offensive and threatening conduct towards Racing Victoria steward Wade Hadley outside the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal hearing room on November 29 last year.
Nikolic was appealing a two-year ban for threatening chief steward Terry Bailey at a Seymour race meeting in September last year.
Nikolic was also hit with a $10,000 fine on Thursday for saying "you're a disgrace" to Hadley as he left the witness box at a VCAT appeal hearing on November 8.
