Michael Rodd was one of five jockeys suspended for careless riding on Manikato Stakes night at Moonee Valley and he will miss Victoria Derby day at Flemington on Saturday week.
Rodd was outed for 10 meetings after pleading guilty to interference going out of the straight the first time on Queenstown, who went on to win Friday's City Jeep Handicap.
Rodd's suspension starts after Saturday's Cox Plate in which he rides Masked Marvel and he is free to return on Melbourne Cup day.
Leading apprentice Chad Schofield was outed for eight meetings while Damian Lane was hit with a 10 meeting ban and both will also miss Derby day.
Dwayne Dunn's seven meeting suspension means he will not miss a feature meeting while Danny Adam was the other rider outed and will miss eight meetings.
