Glyn Schofield suspended at Rosehill

Saturday 2 November 2013, 6:09pm

Glyn Schofield is free to partner Boban in the Group One Emirates Stakes at Flemington next weekend, despite incurring a careless riding suspension at Rosehill.

Schofield was outed for five meetings for causing interference aboard Amovatio in the third race on Saturday won by Wouldnt It Be Nice.

His penalty won't begin until after he rides at the final day of the Melbourne Cup carnival next Saturday.

That leaves him free to reunite with Epsom Handicap winner Boban in the Emirates Stakes, where the horse will be among the leading fancies.

Schofield will also be in action at Flemington on Tuesday and is in the running to partner Mr Moet if he lines up in the Melbourne Cup.
