A full field of 16 plus four emergencies has been declared for the Victoria Derby headed by Group One winners Sacred Elixir and Prized Icon.
The Tony Pike-trained New Zealander, Sacred Elixir, winner of last season's J J Atkins in Brisbane, is the reigning favourite for the Classic on Saturday when he will be reunited with Hong Kong-based Australian jockey Zac Purton.
Prized Icon, winner of the Champagne Stakes in April, is the lone representative for trainer James Cummings who did not accept with stablemate Good Standing.
