Snitzerland has been Corey Brown's headline horse this spring and he is confident the filly can claim a deserved Group One win at Flemington on Saturday.
The Gerald Ryan-trained three-year-old is equal favourite for the Group One Coolmore Stud Stakes (1200m) along with another filly Nechita from the Patinack Farm team.
Brown has ridden Snitzerland in seven of her nine starts including all her six wins and would love to help her claim a maiden Group One success in the race that has been her target all spring.
Snitzerland's only previous attempt at Group One level was the Golden Slipper in April when she defeated all but Pierro in the $3.5 million juvenile feature.
"This is her target and Gerald has got her spot-on for the race," Brown said.
"Her work on Tuesday morning at Caulfield was probably the best bit of work I've ridden her in.
"I don't think she would have run any flash times but it was just the way she did it, and how she handled herself was perfect.
"She's going to be the number one horse in the field that I can see."
Snitzerland began her campaign in Sydney with a first-up San Domenico Stakes win before heading to Melbourne where she added victories in the Danehill, Champagne and Blue Sapphire Stakes, all at different tracks.
The filly has had three starts up the Flemington straight during her career for two wins and a debut second.
"She's just one of those horses that is tough as nails and loves getting into a fight," Brown said.
"And she's come out on top just about every time bar the Golden Slipper.
"She would be definitely my headline horse at the moment."
Snitzerland and Nechita were $3.60 in TAB fixed odds opening markets on Wednesday.
Group One-winning Queensland colt Sizzling is on the third line of betting at $4.50.
Snitzerland has barrier nine in the 11-horse field while Nechita will jump from gate three.
The John Thompson-trained Nechita impressed with a jump-out win at Flemington on Tuesday morning.
"She's done really well down there and she's ready to go," Nechita's jockey Christian Reith said.
