Melbourne Cup-winning jockey Corey Brown is set to extend his riding stay in Singapore.
Brown is one of five overseas jockeys who have been given a Singapore Turf Club licence for the 2014 racing season.
The former Sydney jockeys' title winner took up a Singapore contract after the autumn carnival in April.
He enjoyed a mid-year stint in France before returning to Singapore where he is sixth on the jockeys' table with two Group Three victories among his 39 winners.
The Singapore riders' premiership has been dominated by Joao Moreira in recent seasons but his departure for Hong Kong will create even more opportunities for jockeys like Brown, Manoel Nunes and Epsom Derby-winning hoop Alan Munro.
"I'm loving it," Brown said during a return trip to Australia to ride in year's Melbourne Cup.
"They have been really good, the club over there.
"The lifestyle is great. Two hundred winners (a season) has been opened up with Joao leaving so it makes things a lot easier."
Brown said he wasn't "running away" from Sydney when he decided on leaving, but felt he needed a change.
"And Singapore was the place to go," he said.
"So far it's been good to me."
Australian jockeys Danny Beasley and John Powell, who have become permanent fixtures at Kranji, have been given six-month licences from January 1.
Leading New Zealand jockey Lisa Allpress has won an extension on her Singapore contract until June.
Moreira moved to Hong Kong in September but the Brazilian jockey is assured of winning his fourth Singapore jockeys' premiership with 179 wins for the season.
After last Sunday's Singapore Gold Cup meeting, Nunes is his closest rival with 105 wins.
