Dandino and Galileo Rock to miss Vase

Dandino and Galileo Rock have both been ruled out of Sunday's Hong Kong Vase at Sha Tin.

The Marco Botti-trained Dandino is reported to have sustained a soft-tissue injury to his right front leg while David Wachman's Galileo Rock is suffering with a similar issue in his left front leg.

Owned in Australian interests, Dandino made a name for himself during the Melbourne spring carnival.

He came from well back to finish second to Fawkner in the Caulfield Cup before running fifth in Fiorente's Melbourne Cup at Flemington.
