Trainer Darren Bell's decision to spell Navelina meant racing on Saturday had little impact on the composition of fields for next week's Magic Millions features.
Navelina earned enough prizemoney by winning the Gold Coast Ladies Day Handicap to sneak into the Magic Millions Guineas next Saturday.
However, Bell declared Navelina would be spelled with the Queensland Oaks in the winter as her aim.
There were eight horses in the Coastal Tipper Hire Handicap who could have forced their way into the field for the Magic Millions Classic.
But all failed to qualify after ineligible galloper No Problem took the race.
Gai Waterhouse's youngster Fighting Sun qualified for the Classic with his win at Rosehill but is unlikely to head north.
His stablemate Echo Gal passed a stewards' test on Saturday but is currently only an emergency for the Classic.
The Classic and Guineas fields will be declared on Monday.
