So You Think's three-quarter sister will stay with her breeders after being a late withdrawal from the Karaka premier yearling sale due to filling in her leg.
Michael Moran, who bred the High Chaparral-La Souvenir filly along with Chris Chamberlain, withdrew her from the sale after it had started in Auckland on Monday morning.
"The filling in her hind leg might be gone in 24 or 48 hours, but we couldn't put her in the ring because of it," Moran told NZ Newswire.
Moran, who was also the co-breeder of So You Think, said the swelling would not prevent the filly racing and she was still a valuable breeding proposition regardless.
"If that's the worst thing that happens to us, then things aren't too bad."
La Souvenir is out of Triassic, dam of So You Think, the son of High Chaparral whose 10 Group One wins included two Cox Plates and a Prince of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot.
La Souvenir's first foal, a High Chaparral colt, sold for $800,000 at Karaka in 2012.
