The return to training of Group One winner My Kingdom Of Fife will be monitored by his breeder and former owner, Queen Elizabeth.

Trainer Chris Waller was visited by the Queen's racing manager John Warren last week and filmed a video to be shown to the monarch.

My Kingdom Of Fife, winner of the 2011 Queen Elizabeth Stakes (2000m) at Randwick, has not been seen since he won the Craven Plate in October that year after suffering a tendon injury.

This year's Queen Elizabeth Stakes is worth $4 million and is the pinnacle of the Sydney autumn carnival on April 19.

Although he would like to get My Kingdom Of Fife up and running soon, Waller is not sure if he can get him ready for the signature race.

"John Warren came last week and made a video to take back to England," Waller said.

"I have a couple of horses for Highclere Thoroughbreds in England including Opinion.

"It was a bit of a thrill. The Queen takes an interest in all her horses past and present.

"It would be great if My Kingdom Of Fife could get the chance to run in the Queen Elizabeth Stakes but the Doomben Cup a little later might be a more realistic possibility.

"He looks terrific and his tendon looks great."

My Kingdom Of Fife won his first three races in Australia before running second to Scenic Shot in the Doomben Cup.

He was imported to Australia by businessman Richard Pegum.

The new grandstand at Randwick is expected to be named in honour of Queen Elizabeth on April with anticipation the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be in attendance.

The Queen races Carlton House with Gai Waterhouse and that horse is expected to make up and running in the next few weeks.
