Star Brisbane three-year-old Teronado is likely to resume in Sydney rather than Brisbane on Saturday.
Teronado is topweight in the Australian Turf Club Hcp (1200m) at Rosehill and also has the No.1 saddle cloth in the Coca Cola Three-Year-Old (1200m) at Doomben.
Either way Teronado is Melbourne bound for the $500,000 Australian Guineas (1600m) on March 1.
Trainer Bruce Hill said Teronado would run Saturday and then go to Melbourne, having one lead-up run before the Guineas.
Hill said he was leaning towards the Sydney race and he had until Thursday night to decide.
"He has 59kgs in both and there are five runners in Sydney and 15 in Brisbane," he said.
"The Sydney race is less chance of him getting knocked about in the run and the Sydney race is worth $48,500 to the winner plus a $20,000 Bobs bonus.
"The Brisbane race is worth $32,000."
He said leading Sydney jockey Chris Reith would ride Teronado.
"There is no one in Australia riding better and I think he will suit Teronado," Hill said.
Teronado, has shown he is up to Sydney class when at his last start he came from 12th on the corner to finish 5th in the Ming Dynasty Quality at Randwick last September.
The Testa Rossa gelding has won three of his seven starts but has always shown he would want 1600m to show his best.
Hill has no doubt Teronado would handle the Melbourne way of going and was up to Guineas class.
"Some of the sectional times he has run in Brisbane show he is exceptional. We've worked him the reverse way a few times and he has gone well," Hill said.
