Multiple Group One winner Midday has given birth to a filly foal by her former stablemate Frankel.
The high-profile mating produced its first offspring on Saturday afternoon at Juddmonte Farm's Banstead Manor Stud.
Midday and Frankel were both trained by the late Sir Henry Cecil and between them won 16 Group One races.
"Obviously this was a much anticipated foaling," Juddmonte general manager Philip Mitchell said.
"We are very pleased with the foal. Midday is an excellent mother and both she and the filly are very well.
"We have had many people contact us regarding Midday and her Frankel foal, and would be interested to hear any naming suggestions from members of the public!"
Midday's six Group One wins include the Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare and three Nassau Stakes.
She produced her first foal, a colt by Frankel's sire Galileo, last year. She will be covered by Frankel again this year.
