Corey Brown will compete in Sydney for the first time in almost 12 months with a book of Randwick rides likely to be the envy of most jockeys.
Gradually establishing himself as one of Singapore's leading riders, Brown links with the in-form Hawkes Racing stable for a star-studded Apollo Stakes meeting.
And there's a strong chance his return will be a success with the former Sydney jockeys' premiership champion booked for two early favourites and a Magic Millions winner.
Brown left Sydney after last year's autumn carnival to settle in Singapore where he is in fifth place in the jockey standings.
On early betting, Brown's best chance at Randwick will be on the Hawkes stable's Not Listenin'tome if the promising sprinter is kept in Sydney after winning a Rosehill barrier trial on Tuesday.
Not Listenin'tome is also a Caulfield acceptor but he is rated a $2.80 chance to start his autumn campaign the right way in the Group Three Southern Cross Stakes.
The three-year-old hasn't been to the races since underlining his potential with a placing in the Group One Coolmore Stud Stakes at Flemington in November.
Owned by Hong Kong trainer John Moore, Not Listenin'tome has been nominated for the $3 million Doncaster Mile and the $2.5 million TJ Smith Stakes - Group One races run at Randwick on April 12.
"He's probably heading towards the TJ (Smith) if everything goes to plan," co-trainer Michael Hawkes said.
"We have to get his rating up to get into a race like that because he's only lightly raced but in saying that he's a high-quality horse."
Brown will also ride the 2013 Magic Millions winner Real Surreal in the Light Fingers Stakes as well as Jolie Bay when the mare resumes in the Triscay Stakes.
His Apollo Stakes mount will be the Chris Waller-trained outsider Moriarty.
