Rod Quinn joins Racing NSW team as mentor

Retired jockey Rodney Quinn has joined Racing NSW as a mentor for apprentice riders.

Quinn will start his new role at Kembla Grange on Saturday, eight months after his final race ride.

He joins a Racing NSW team of ex-jockeys that includes Ron Quinton and Malcolm Johnston.

Quinn won more than 2000 races during a 37-year riding career and said he was looking forward to continuing his involvement in racing.
