Nathan Berry has made his first ride in Singapore a winner aboard the Michael Freedman-trained Serpico.
Berry began a four-month contract on Sunday with three rides on the program.
Freedman said he was pleased to have the young Sydney gun in his stable.
"I'm very happy for Nathan," Freedman said.
"He's off to a great start."
Visiting Australian apprentice Jamie Kah made the most of her last ride of a three-week stay when she got Twist Oliver over the line in a tight finish.
It was the second win for Kah who steered Just A Man to win at Friday night's meeting.
