Randwick Guineas placegetters El Roca and Eurozone will add another element to the George Ryder Stakes which will also feature another clash between Boban and Appearance.

After finishing behind Appearance twice in the weight-for-age Expressway and Apollo Stakes, Boban was back to his best when he won the Group One Chipping Norton Stakes after being reunited with Glyn Schofield.

The jockey, who has a perfect record of six from six on the Chris Waller-trained Boban, missed the first two starts of his campaign through suspension.

Appearance was missing from the Chipping Norton due to a slight recurrence of a muscle problem but came back to score a dominant win in Saturday's Canterbury Stakes.

Earlier in the day, New Zealand colt El Roca was a close second to Dissident in the Group One Guineas (1600m) with Eurozone running on for third.

Both drop back to the 1500 metres of the $1 million George Ryder Stakes on March 29.

Appearance's trainer Guy Walter said the mare had come through the Canterbury Stakes (1300m) in good order along with her stablemates Toydini and Streama who finished fifth and sixth respectively.

"The plan is for all three to go to the George Ryder," Walter said.

"It's unfortunate they have to clash but there is nothing to be done about it.

"I thought all three went well. Toydini is looking likes he wants further and Streama always hits the line well.

"But Appearance is a fantastic mare. I always said Spinning Hill was the best mare I've trained but there's not much between them now."

The Canterbury Stakes was the fourth Group One win for Appearance who took out last year's Coolmore Classic-Queen Of The Turf double.

The week's interruption to her program means she will miss Saturday's Coolmore (1500m) but the Queen Of The Turf (1600m) is still on the agenda.

"It's a weight-for-age race this year which is attractive," Walter said.

"I wouldn't back her up two Saturdays in a row and she would get too much weight in a Coolmore.

"So the plan will be the George Ryder, the Doncaster and the Queen Of The Turf."

Appearance is the $6 favourite for the $3 million Doncaster Mile on April 12 with Canterbury Stakes runner-up Notlisten'tome the TAB's $8 second elect.
