Saturday's Moonee Valley meeting could prove significant for jockey Daniel Moor as he chases his next Group One mount.

Moor is hoping Street View can continue his push towards a possible South Australian Derby start in the Kane Constructions Handicap (2040m).

Anthony Freedman trains Street View but the three-year-old is not one of the large string of Darley horses that populate his Flemington stable.

That fact could help Moor keep the ride on the progressive stayer should he complete back-to-back wins at Moonee Valley.

"He's got Singaporean owners, which is good, and they are happy to have me on if I get the job done," Moor said.

"If he was to win and win impressively, the Derby would hopefully be a goal but he's got to take a very big step."

Moor rode Street View to his maiden win at Moonee Valley on March 10 and felt the gelding had improved since his breakthrough success.

The rider said the lightly raced stayer's attitude to his work showed he could handle steep rises in grade, starting with Saturday's open three-year-old assignment.

"Now he's had that win he feels better within himself and he's more confident," Moor said.

"Hopefully he can take another step on Saturday."

An on-pacer runner, Street View could be made to work early to find a prominent position from his awkward draw but bookmakers have still installed him a $5 second pick behind $4.20 favourite Bardem.

Moor will also partner David Hayes-trained import Stipulate in the Silver Thomas Hanley Handicap (1600m).

Stipulate made a steady return to racing when sixth in the Group Two Blamey Stakes (1600m) at Flemington on March 8.

Moor says Stipulate is nimble enough to adapt to the tight Moonee Valley circuit.

"If he can be quick enough on his feet to travel handy, it will stand us in good stead," Moor said.

Stipulate is an $8 chance.
