Paul Snowden will saddle up his first runner as a public trainer when Tumult runs at Gosford on Anzac Day.
The three-year-old, formerly part of the Darley string but now owned by syndication company Darby Racing, will line up in the Singo's Wholesale Meats Handicap (1100m).
The son of Darley head trainer Peter, Paul Snowden was foreman for Sheikh Mohammed's Melbourne stable during his father's six-year tenure with the racing and breeding operation.
The pair will form an independent training partnership after Peter Snowden has his final runners for Darley at Hawkesbury's stand-alone meeting on Saturday week.
Snowden senior will send out his final Group One runner for Darley at Randwick on Saturday when Kumaon lines up in the Champagne Stakes.
